The University of Edinburgh's Potterrow Development recently won a Civic Trust Award. The Civic Trust Awards are Europe's longest running architectural and built environment awards programme, this year they celebrated their 61st anniversary. On 6th March 2020, 58 projects were awarded after a multi-stage assessment process. The Civic Trust Awards reward projects that make an outstanding contribution to the quality and appearance of the built environment. Projects give the 'Award' level demonstrate excellence in architecture or design, whilst being sustainable, accessible and provide a positive civic contribution. The Potterrow Development was 1 of the 26 projects given the 'Award' level status. The Bayes Centre, completed in 2018, became the final piece of the Potterrow Development.
