From June 2026, the University’s electric vehicle (EV) charging points will move from the ChargePlace Scotland (CPS) network to the Fuuse network. This includes chargers that were not previously connected to CPS. What’s changing and when?From the week beginning 8 June 2026, University EV charging points will begin moving to the Fuuse network.You can continue to use your CPS card or app until your charger switches to Fuuse.The changeover will happen in stages over several days. We expect minimal disruption during this time.Each charger will continue to operate as normal until it switches to the Fuuse network. Once the switch is complete, CPS cards will no longer work.We recommend registering for the Fuuse network before the change begins.Charging pricesCharging prices and overstay fees will stay the same:£0.45 per kWh standard rate£30 overstay fee for stays longer than four hours£0.25 per kWh discounted rate for eligible staff and studentsIf you currently receive the discounted staff or student rate, you should already have received an email with further instructions.What do you need to do?You will need to download the Fuuse app before the changeover.
