The Building Services Group is made up of a team of controls engineers, building surveyors, mechanical and electrical engineers. The team have responsibility for operating and maintaining five energy centres across the estate along with the following activities: Asset Management and records, life cycle and replacement programmes Infrastructure and development Long term/strategic maintenance planning Building Energy Management Systems Compliance (standards and programmes) Service Maintenance contracts Incident investigation Root cause analysis and resolution Infrastructure risk management – operational and statutory Backlog and planned maintenance Condition surveys, Insurance inspections, hand-over oversight The team also creates Design Guides and Technical Standards.
