Space and Estates Property Management

The Space and Estates Property Management team aim to make effective and efficient use of the University's buildings resource.

The Space and Estates Property Management team are focused on three main strands of work:

Strategic Planning Support: Researching and compiling best design practices for various space types, including workplace, learning and teaching. This involves gathering data and new ideas, forecasting future trends, and conducting horizon scanning, to provide valuable insights that influence the decision-making process for both our capital developments and optimisation of our existing spaces.

Space Data Management: Maintaining accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible data on our physical estate. Ensuring data integrity builds confidence in its use as a strategic tool for informed decision-making regarding space utilisation, future decision making, the need for new space and asset management.

Estate Property Management: Overseeing the estate's land and property portfolio to ensure efficient estate management, with a focus on maximising income from various space types.
