The Estates Business Services Team provides an integrated professional support service across the Estates Department. Business SupportEstates Business Services section delivers a comprehensive range of support functions across the Estates Department, including dedicated executive assistance to the Estates Leadership Team. Our team offers comprehensive administrative, financial, and recruitment support across various teams within the department.Communications The Communications team creates regular communications for Estates Department staff, manages social media channels and supports the Estates Leadership Team to communicate messages within the department and across the University.Governance and PolicyThis includes ensuring that there is a clear transparent decision making process in relation to how the Estates Department operates and ensuring that this is in line with the overarching governance arrangements for the University. Coupled with this the Business Services Team act as the custodians of Estates policies, again ensuring that these are defined and reviewed in line with University and legislative requirements. The team also handles Freedom of Information requests and manages complaints to the department.IT and SystemsThe Estates IT and Systems Team provides support across the Estates Department. This includes supporting approximately one hundred different systems, providing recommendations and consulting on IT/IS related matters, offering individual and/or group support sessions, managing AV and setting up equipment.Records and Information ManagementThe Records and Information section within the Estates Department develops and implements systems and processes to streamline record-keeping, and ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
